Fred Alvin N. Malaykhan is a seasoned financial services executive, corporate strategist, governance professional, and sports administrator with more than 30 years of leadership experience across the insurance, financial services, telecommunications, public sector, youth development, and sports sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York (CUNY) and has built a distinguished career in finance, corporate strategy, governance, and executive leadership.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP), Mr. Malaykhan currently serves as Executive Consultant – Financial Planning and Corporate Strategy with Caribbean Alliance Insurance Company Limited and as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Saint Lucia Insurances Limited. Throughout his career, he has led major initiatives in corporate transformation, financial management, governance, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning.
In 2026, Mr. Malaykhan was appointed Chairman of the Youth Economy Agency and Chief Executive Officer of the Saint Lucia Semi-Professional Football League. In these roles, he provides strategic leadership to advance youth entrepreneurship, strengthen football governance, promote commercial sustainability, and support national development through sport under the League's motto, "Leveraging Football to Transform Lives."
He is also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Veterans In Sports, Inc., leading initiatives including the Saint Lucia International Masters Football Invitational, the Veterans Football Championship, Kick For A Cure, and Veterans Educate. Through these programmes, he has helped promote sports tourism, healthy lifestyles, and community development under the organization's banner, "Excellence. Sustained."
